Maestro Games' unique solution is The Last Maestro™, a headset-based application which combines hi-res imagery, classical music, and a touch of gamification. The solution utilizes the latest Dell technology to meet the growing requirements for the immersive experience, making the technology both more usable, cost effective, and easier to procure.
What is The Last Maestro™?
The Last Maestro™ is a headset-based application developed by Maestro Games that combines high-resolution imagery, classical music, and elements of gamification. Its purpose is to assist first responders and their families in resetting their parasympathetic nervous system during or after stressful events, potentially reducing burnout and post-traumatic stress. The application currently features visual experiences set to classical music, such as an Alpine sunrise with Grieg’s Peer Gynt and an English cottage scene with Bach’s Cello Suite.
How effective is The Last Maestro™?
The Last Maestro™ was tested at The Children’s Hospital of Orange County for seven months in 2020, where researchers found preliminary evidence suggesting it may be a useful tool for reducing burnout and post-traumatic stress. The study reported a statistically significant decrease in self-reported burnout and secondary traumatic stress among participants.
What technology supports The Last Maestro™?
The Last Maestro™ leverages high-end Dell Precision workstations equipped with NVIDIA RTX™ GPUs to ensure a smooth and immersive experience, aiming for frame rates of at least 90 to 120 frames per second. This technology allows for multiple headsets to be managed from a single portable workstation, making it easier to deploy in various settings such as hospitals and police facilities.
